Meet Julia Robinson
County Board Supervisor District 5
Experience
Due to my experience in government, in August of 2024 I was appointed to the County Board after the previous County Board Supervisor. I will be up for election in the first Spring Election after my appointment.
I served as an Alderman for the City of Kenosha from 1998-2008, serving on Public Safety & Welfare (Chair), License & Permits, Finance, and Parks committees.
I have a proven history of responsive representation of my constituents, collaboration with colleagues, and non-partisan practical problem-solving.

Priorities
Fiscal Responsibility – I believe in prudent and well managed spending of tax dollars while promoting the economic development of the community.
Public Safety – Government ensures Public Safety through creating a sense of community, an environment of security, and administration of justice.
Parks/Recreation – Our quality of life is improved when we protect parks and manage land for future generations.
Infrastructure – We should focus on long-term sustainability of our infrastructure through proper planning, repair, and investment.

Small Business Owner
As a small business owner in Kenosha since 2007, I am aware of the impact of taxing and planning decisions on business.
I want to encourage entrepreneurs and also foster an environment in Kenosha County where business and manufacturing can thrive. This will not only provide jobs but contribute to the tax base.
